Time for meditation, time for calculation
In March we started our trip to Scandinavia. Just before we left Slovenia, an arctic front came, so we were practically escaping from -15 degrees.
(It is quite challenging to start packing a mobile house when freezing cold...)
We took an extra few weeks to stop in Martigue, France for to up great our mobile house and test it before the reall snow adventure to Tromso, Norway begins.
We found what we were looking for. The land of Camargue. Space and no unnecessary frequencies, except the universal sound of the nature. Camargue is inhabited by a rich diversity of wildlife, the Cheval Camarguais (white horse smaller than than the average horse), more than 50.000 flamingos and the Taureaux Camarguais (breed of black bull). The area Is known for the guardians. European cowboys.
When you adjust to the surroundings and are ready for your macro lens, you are ready to accept and see the micro worlds around you.
Waking up with flamingos and going to bed while admiring the strength of life and wilderness in this beautiful camargue horses, felt like a breath of fresh air before our future off road adventures.
Flamingos were getting closer every day. We have adapted to the quietness of the surrounding.
Camargue with its beauty truly was a bless for our souls. Still is and even more than before.
The Camargue is known for its windy climate. (300 days per year windy) Except one stormy night, luck was on our side. We caught a perfect days for a landscape photography. I couldn't take long exposures because of the present breeze, but there was always something happening. Either on the earth, either on the sky.
