Following advice from a couple acquainted with Greece’s stunning beaches, we chose to look for a peaceful place near Limni.
As we reached Limni, the sun dipped below the horizon in a breathtaking display, prompting us to park the car and begin the exciting adventure that lay ahead.
Our off-road adventure to the bay ended up taking more time than we had planned, which unfortunately cut short our exploration under the stunning sunlight. The following morning, we eagerly set off to find the perfect spot where we could relax and fully enjoy a few days of leisure.
The beautiful stretch of sand extends before us like a dream beach. With June’s pleasant temperatures and the calming waves, we enjoy this peaceful retreat, forming unforgettable memories.
At that moment, a dolphin gracefully surfaced in the bay, joined by its pod. In the distance, we spotted another group of dolphins frolicking, creating a stunning scene that truly rounded off our day beautifully.
When your cooking plate is ready, and driven by my enthusiastic spirit, I leap into the air at the first call of a dolphin. Capturing photos of these magnificent giants becomes an exhilarating challenge. However, as you stand barefoot on those scorching stones, it’s essential to remember that this experience may lead to disappointment in the taste of the food or the sharpness of your photographs. Embrace the moment, but remain realistic about your expectations!
The story unfolds as the protagonist chases an extender while dealing with nearly burnt food. After reflecting on the minutes wasted rushing back and forth to capture a dolphin’s image, I now realise that trying to do everything at once often results in imperfect outcomes. Although the food may have burnt, the successful photograph makes the effort worthwhile.
Everything has its own time, which cannot be hurried, and that is how it should be. The next day, I set aside the camera and appreciated the beauty of the dolphins swimming past. Later, food was also on the table.
During a journey, you connected with like-minded individuals. As I travelled through Southeast Asia with a backpack, I met fellow adventurers, passionate photographers, and inspiring artists. Each encounter enriched our experience, reminding us of the wonderful people we can find along the way.
On this extraordinary journey without a backpack, I’m connecting with fellow adventurers in caravans and off-road vehicles, along with passionate photographers and inspiring artists who enrich this fantastic experience!
A couple from Germany and their German Shepherd, Ajla, have left a truly lasting impression on me. Their warmth and companionship embody the spirit of travel and connection.
An anesthetist and his wife, a radiologist, decided to sell her practice after many years of a rewarding and challenging career, although she still takes part occasionally. Eight years ago, she wisely chose to invest in a property, which has set her up for future opportunities.
A charming, talkative young couple, full of life experiences and stories, enriched their three-week holiday from Kassel, Germany, to Ancona, Italy, and Greece.
The exchange of experiences, cuisine, laughter, and kindness was preventing us from moving forward towards Mongolia. We connected as if we had known each other for years.
Together, we welcomed *our dog, Ajla,* from whom we had almost said goodbye—some in person, others in spirit.
Thanks to their exceptional medical expertise, Ajla received excellent anaesthesia and care right on the beach, where she happily recovered in a lovely setting.
