CHRISTMAS TIME
Exploring winter in Vienna, renowned for its charming Christmas markets, sounds like a delightful plan.
My love for wool and knitting led me to explore a charming yarn shop in Josefstadt, Vienna, where you will find distinctive materials and a warm atmosphere that fosters creativity.
The knowledgeable saleswoman expertly guided me through all the key details about the wool, making the experience both enjoyable and informative.
The fascinating textures, vibrant colours, and intricate patterns in this worm boutique store inspired me to change my lens. I found myself torn between the wide-angle Canon 24mm f/1.4 and the macro Canon 100mm f/2.8, each offering unique perspectives on the captivating details all around me.
I favour a particular yarn. The colours are earthy and simple, yet vivid, and they are just the ones I could see myself wrapped in.
I have an offer I intend to take up: buying the yarn will surely turn me into a skilled knitter.
As I explored the enchanting world of knitting through my camera lens, my colleague was diligently creating something truly special that aims to captivate and inspire.
I recently found out that my friend has been knitting since she was five, and was expertly taught a variety of techniques by her cherished aunt. Her talent never ceases to impress me!
I had full confidence in her abilities, which is why I decided to buy the yarn.
Vienna, the enchanting birthplace of the waltz, stands as a lively centre of music and art. Its rich cultural heritage and captivating atmosphere make it a city that truly embodies charm and inspiration.
The weather was unpredictable, and I don’t consider it my favourite, but the atmosphere was undoubtedly fabulous.
While researching Krampus, I was suddenly jolted on my backside as I was leaving the shop. It felt unreal—Krampus seemed to be everywhere! What just happened? This sort of encounter makes the legend even more captivating!
The street filled with a haze of smoke, vibrating with the powerful beats of Rammstein, enthralling everyone nearby.
Krampus was very amusing. I can’t say that at moments they didn’t scare me, but I was still laughing, almost crying while experiencing the event, with my adrenaline at its highest most of the time. It was a small, local, and beautifully performed Krampus show.
Vienna took my breath away; what a magnificent, regal city! The Christmas markets are utterly charming, and you can discover almost everything there.
Experience the charm of local crafts and beautiful artwork, combined with the delightful taste of traditional Austrian glühwein (mulled wine) and savoury bratwurst.
Stunning architecture can make you feel as if you’ve found the ‘centre of the world.’
