My first experience in Globoko was attending the birthday celebration of my neighbour, Andrej Globočnik, also known as Andi. He is a passionate beekeeper. Fascinated by all the artwork I had seen, I decided to return, this time fully equipped with my photography gear.

Dr. Peter Florjančič was always confident and enthusiastic when talking about his beloved hometown, Bled, and the rich culinary experiences he enjoyed throughout his life. His time with the elite in Monte Carlo and the distinguished Karađorđević dynasty was particularly memorable. This notable dynasty, known for its significant role in history, ruled Serbia and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes—later Yugoslavia. They appreciated his talent from a young age and welcomed him, nurturing his potential and shaping his future.
I was genuinely captivated by the stunning BIRD HOUSE fresco, which has endured over the years, sparking my desire to return.
I’m excited to explore Vinko’s exceptional products and eager to uncover the delightful antiques awaiting me at the Globočnik homestead! What an incredible adventure!
